Assigning Cases to a specific user

Here is my question.

I am creating auto cases based on the some Entity Titles and want those cases need to be assigned to the Primary contact of any one particular Entity.

Say, I have Entity called 'Property' and John Is the primary contract for that entity; and when some maintenance is made at the property, then I receive an Invoice with the Property name In the subject. Here I am creating an auto case based on the property name from the email subject

Now, I want the system to assign that case to John directly as he is the Primary contact.

Please let me know how can i do that.

    I think you mean you have a property record with a primary contact.

    From what you are saying and I maybe wrong, it sounds like you want a case to be assigned to John so you will need to create a workflow which states if a case is created using 'Property Name' then assign this to user 'John'.

    Property should have a lookup primary contract(mapping with User). And john is crm user. Because you can assign record only to CRM user or Team.

    Case should have mapping with Property.

    You can right workflow:

    On create on Case:

    If case:Property != contain data)

    {

    Assign case : to Regarding Entity(Owner field) mean Property:Owner

    }

    stop workflow

    You can take help from below link :

    Yes, I want the case to be assigned to the Property primary contact.

    Say for Property 1; primary contact Is John and for Property 2, primary contact might be different. So, when ever a case is created using a defined subject line; then that case should be assigned to the primary contact of the property.

    You can handle this plug-in, how you are creating case, you have your logic there read primary contact and set it as owner of case record in create itself.

    How you are creating auto case currently ??
