Smart List - Inventory Quantity Sold

Hi all! Can someone please give me an idea of which Series and Table to use to add my total inventory sold for individual items sold? I thought Inventory but I can't find a table which makes sense to add that information to my existing smart list. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Jason,

Wich version of Dynamics GP are you using ?  Microsoft has added a few standard user view in SQL since V 10.0 to help users get quicker and easier reports out of GP with Excel or SSRS...

There are 5-6 views related to Inventory & Items in SQL Views under your company DB... have a look at it.

My smart list contains the item #, description, cost, and sell price. Now I just need to know how many of the item have been sold but I can't seem to find a good location for that.

    Jason,

When you open your standard SmartLists under the Inventory section, by default the list returns infos like Qty onHand, Qty On Order, Allocated, Available, and location code...

If you click on 'Columns' in the SL toolbar, you can Add... another field. Click on Add.. and select the 'Qty Sold' field.. move the field up in the list to place it at the right location in your column list and click OK.

Now your default smart-list will return the Qty Sold as well... Save it under your Favorites and give it a new name.

I opened columns and went to add but I do not see the "Qty Sold". You wouldn't happen to know how I can add that, do you? If it is in builder I just need to know where to look, Thanks!

Re: Smart List - Inventory Quantity Sold

I'm not speaking about SL-Builder.. just the regular SL. When opening the Add... form, just type 'sold' in the empty field and click the search icon... it should return you the 'Qty Sold' field.

Now I might be wrong and this field is only available since GP 2010, but in this case you have to use the SL-Builder and grab the field directly from the table IV00102..QTYSOLD  or use one of the views I mentionned in a previous post.

This is weird. I do not get a sold option on my list to select from. I typed sold in the search field but it returns nothing.

Sorry, but I don't have a running GP10 on hand, so I can't validate the SL of that version.. maybe the field was added on the later version.. User the suggested alternate path to get the info.

Which section are looking at under Inventory?  You need to be looking in the Item Quantities are to be able to add the Qty Sold.

That did it! I was under Item Master. When I changed to quantities it gave me the option. Thanks to all who helped out!
