Cisco AMP for Endpoints Connector slowing GP down

Anyone out there using Cisco AMP for Endpoints Connector experiencing issues with slowing down GP?  We are having major slowdowns with posting since this was added to our servers.  We have followed the normal recommendations about having files excluded for Databases and logs.  Anything else to do?  For now we have turned off on server and things are better.  Have determined we also need it turned off on RDP server as well.
