After installing Dynamics SL 2011 FP1 and SP2  couple of my users are getting the Following error when trying to enter multiple line items on Screen SD.203.00 Invoice T&M Details:

Assertion failure!

File:sqlapi.cpp

Line 1103

Expression:(*pcursor>0) AND (precursor <=MAXCURSORS)

Hit OK to stop program and report the error to Microsoft Support

I have searched online and Dynamics Customer Source. Checked for an available Hotfix and can't find any information on this particular error. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and any help you provide.

    Is the screen customized?  Seems like there is a hotfix for customized screens with grids

    hi - have you had any update  on this issue - I receive the same type of error after upgrading to SL 2011 SP 2 - for the time review and approval screen . When approving about 10 timecards and clicking begin processing it processes correctly. If more timecards are selected and begin processing is run, then I get a series of  messages:

    system message 10065: Application TMTRA0 has exceeded the lmit of 50 cursors. Please decrease the number of cursors in use by this application.

    followed by  System Message 10232 - sqlapi.cpp line 1112. Expression (*Pcursor >0) and (*pcursor <= MAXCURSORS).     followed y Programming bulletproof error 10262 - invalid cursor value passed to sfetch8().Please make sure cursor value is greater than 0.  Also veriy that this cursor has been passed to sql ().

    Any suggestions ?
