Apply workflow from activity task description to note on Case

Objective - When an activity is completed, has a description, and is associated with a case, we want to run a workflow to add that description to the Notes section of the regarding case.

 

I know you can't update a note from a workflow but should be able to create a note. Any thoughts?

    Resolved. Add a Task and set as regarding and run on update on through org.

    If I understand you correctly here is the solution.

    Note : tried on Appointment activity

    Thanks Sreevalli!

    I had everything except for (Case(Regarding (Case))). I also set it up as a real-time workflow so that the owner of the task has their name populated as the note owner.
