Integration Manager Registration Error

They have seen this error before trying to register Integration Manager 2010:

 

Could not load file or assembly 'Interop.GPRegistration, Version=11.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

    Vielka,  A similiar issue has been discussed in the below link.

    Trying to read between the lines and get to the bottom of this - does the Blog then suggest that we 'must' have Office (to some degree) installed where ever we have IM installed?

    Some server admins are not going to be pleased if we have to have 'full office' sitting on a server just to facilitate IM operations.

    Hope I am reading to much into that reply.

    Bill, you don't have to have Office installed, but you do have to have the Access runtime engine installed. Integration Manager utilizes an Access database.

    Frank that is the confirmation I was hoping I got right - we were concerned for our DBA's that are so anti application on the servers - but this is a great confirmation.
