When I remove that field and its dependencies, I dont get the error. But I need to include the field in my solution. Field is two options which is configured as checkbox.

The reason why the error was being generated is that a field with the same logical name was present within the environment

    You can refer this:

    crmchap.co.uk/fields-that-are-not-valid-were-specified-for-the-entity-solution-import-error-dynamics-365-customer-engagement

    Hope help this

The same field exists on you target environment which has different properties. Check the field in your target and conpare it with your source.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Karan,

This known issue , this is due to same component added multiple time in the solution. You can get full details from event viewer log. May be you added web resource twice in your solution.

Please check in event viewer log . Hope this helps.

But do you think if the same field in the target, import should fail. I believe it should either overright or give warning. Moreover I see that there are many other fields which are present in target but it did not complain about them. Please advise.

I read that page before but I dont understand it. I tried to search the same field but it did not exist there. I had to delete original one. But I need to configure this field again and its related business rules.  Please help so that I dont face this issue again when I export the solution in next week.

@Goutam : yes this is the likely reason. Because I have created this multiple times in the same solution. But problem is I have not been able to locate those stale records related to it. How do we check Event Viewer log?
