Export ALL data from CRM

I am fairly new to CRM and originally imported records as accounts and contacts when I realise they should have been leads.

I want to export them and re import them.

When I tried only the fields that were exported were the ones on view in CRM at the time.

Of course I want to export all the fields, then delete all contacts and accounts on CRM and re import as leads.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Hi JohnDMS,

You can create 1 view and add all need fields to your this view (you can use advance find).

    Regards,

RE: Export ALL data from CRM

    Hi JohnDMS,

If the records that you imported is from MS Excel sheet(.csv, .xlsx etc), then Delete those records from Account and Contact, and Re-Import as a Lead from the same MS Excel sheet(.csv, .xlsx etc).

If you don't have MS Excel sheet(.csv, .xlsx etc) then Export those records from Account and Contact by adding all the required fields to the view.

    Thank you,

    Hi,

Simply add all Columns to an advanced find view. You will need to do two separate Advanced Finds. One for Accounts, one for Contacts.

    1. Advanced Find Button

    2. Entity selector (look for)

    3. Edit Columns

    4. Add all Columns to View (see separate picture below for more instructions).

    5. View Results

    Add all Columns step:

This is Advanced Find but how to esport data to XLS? When clicking "Export Accounts" I received XML format.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Kasandra,

Are you trying to export the Fetch XML query rather than the Records? You first need to hit Results (Red exclamation mark).

You should now see an option to export to Excel. A static sheet is for simply exporting. A dynamic sheet will allow you to make adjustments to the data and re-import.

    Dear JM,

Thank you, this is what I did. Problem is that all exported this way files are opened as xml files and cannot be opened via other program like Office XLS.
