Can you use queues for opportunities or leads?

Hi Community,

Queues can be used to manage cases and activities. Queue items can then be picked and ownership is assigned.

However an this also be done for leads or opportunities?

    Any entity could be assigned to a queue. But queues aren't enabled for leads out of the box.

    Simply go to customizations, select an entity, say Lead. Then under communication and collaboration tick the queues option. Publish your change and you can then queue the lead.

    NOTE: If you want to "play" with this do not do it in your production system. As once enabled the option can not be turned off. So you need to be confident it is what you want before enabling.

    Yes, you can use queue for opportunity and lead, for that you need to enable queues checkbox under opportunity and lead entity definition.
