42Lost, need help :) been scouring these boards all rabbit holes feel trapped in some loop.
How many Dynamics 365 BC customers are from QB. Looking for some clear step directions on moving data from QB to BC. As a small biz owner I prefer to try this myself.
I have downloaded and installed the Data Migration Tool into Business Central.

“QuickBooks Data Migration
DescriptionThis application automates the process of migrating Customers, Vendors, Items and Accounts from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The user will need to either download the exporter tool to export their data out of QuickBooks Desktop or log into the QuickBooks Online System. GL Accounts and a beginning balance transaction will migrate along with Customers and Vendors and their current open transactions. Inventory items and current quantity on hand and service items will migrate from QuickBooks.”
Next –in BCentral - Under Data – Data Migration- I choose “Import from QuickBooks” click next

INSTRUCTIONS
To prepare the data for migration, follow these steps:
1) Download and run the Microsoft Data Exporter.

2) Click Next to select the *.zip file containing your exported QuickBooks data.
3) Complete wizard to import data into Dynamics 365. Download instructions

These files can be downloade by selecting the file or files that you would like to downloade from the dropdown above.
To Download do the following:
1) Click the Download button (above). NO DROP DOWN ABOVE so i choose manual set up
2) Select the files that you would like to download.
3) Click Next.
4) Select to Open or Save the document.
5) Go to the location that you saved the document and view
So I try to download and appears to take me to a LOOP to only RE-insall the Data Migration Tool.
Next, there was instruction on going to AppSource.microsoft.com. to download look for and download a QB Extension Management.
The same thing just another link to reinstall the previous Data Migration Tool ALREADY installed (another Loop)
Has anyone been successful in importing there data from QuickBooks Desktop to MS Dynamics 365 BC?
Does anyone have a solution.
