Regional Format/date settings

I have an issue since the Upgrade to version 20 of Business central.

When making a Sales order, purchase order or any other document and print that out it gives the wrong regional/ date setting.

Example Dates in UK BC are showing as MM/DD/YY on print outs on quotes and Purchase orders rather than the standard UK DD/MM/YY.
Any idea if there is a fix for this as changing the regional language in settings is not working?

    Hi,

Can you please check the Regional setting as per below image? If those settings are correct and still you are facing the issue, then you have to design the report and make the changes.

So in that case you have to modify the report, by opening those report into Designer.

Found out that it was fetching information from the customer card ( language code) when changing this it gets the correct date standard. Seems this has been changed from MS side as it was working fine fetching the information from the user region settings.

Anyone else experiencing this in BC or know if this is an known issue after the upgrade to V20 ?

    Hi,

To be more precise, the language of the sales/purchase header determines the date format. Language code of customer/vendor master  is suggested as the initial value for the language of the voucher. You can easily add Language Code field by personalize feature, and can edit the field.

And the Language setting of the Sales/Purchase Order takes the priority over the Language of the My Settings.
So far as I researched, it is completely language dependent in v19.1.
How to determine date format on D365BC | IT長のネタ帳 (d3654.be)

    I hope this helps you.
