Uncontrolled deletion of records in the CRM

Contacts suddenly started to dissapear in the system. There are no system jobs on deleting contacts. The most of plugins are checked.

What are the most widespread reasons of this problem?

    Hello Slava.

    Do check if the Auditing is enabled in your system.

    there you will find what exactly happend to the records.

    you can find auditing option in Settings area.

    It might be due to a user deleting the data, either accidentally or deliberately. Also, it may be that the contacts have been deactivated rather than deleted; check the Inactive Contacts view

    Hello, unfortunately I customer provided me system without enabled auditing.

    Now I think that it could be cascade deleting. Maybe I should go to 1:N relationships on Contacts and check it.

    Unfortunately if auditing wasn't turned on, you are looking for a needle in a haystack.  I would turn auditing on and see if it happens again.

    Also check all the processes and make sure there wasn't a process that did a delete based on a condition.

    Good luck but it is like trying to find out who stole something without surveillance cameras..
