Employee & Resource Maintenance Purge

If I change the status for terminated employees from Inactive to Purge on the Employee and Resource Maintenance screen, what information will be purged?  We are trying to clean up the Timecard Status report which shows both active and inactive employees, but I don't want to purge if it is going to actually delete them from the system.

    I saw that information, but I was wondering exactly what information will be deleted when we Purge.

    HI

    Employee and Resource Maintenance screen - "Status" indicates the resource’s status. The following options are available:

    ·         Active (A) – The current resource is active and valid for new input/charges.

    ·         Hold (H) – This status is not used at this time, but is reserved for future use.

    ·         Inactive (I) – The current resource is no longer active and new input is prevented. Existing data will continue to be processed.

    ·         Purge (P) – Only resources that have a status of Purge can be deleted, preventing the accidental deletion of an active resource.
