The above guide includes everything you might need to know about working with Power Platform and integrating, including API information. That would be a great place for you to start.

If you have any specific questions on integration topics (such as how certain calls are made, recommended patterns, or anything like that) let us know and we can do our best to assist.

For integrating Dynamics 365 with Magento 2 and syncing products, customers, orders, etc., start with the Microsoft Dataverse / Power Platform API documentation, as it covers all core API patterns you’ll need for integration. A good foundation is the Microsoft Dataverse Developer Guide which explains how to authenticate, query data, and perform CRUD operations via OData/Web API this will help you build your sync logic for products, customers, orders, and more. You can also find helpful integration-related resources on our website. Once you’re familiar with the basics, you can focus on specific endpoints and patterns needed for Magento 2 sync.

This scenario appears to involve Dynamics 365 configuration or customization behavior that may be impacted by security roles, business rules, or plug-in execution order. In addition to checking user permissions and field-level security, it’s important to review plug-in registration stages (Pre-Validation, Pre-Operation, Post-Operation) and confirm whether synchronous or asynchronous logic is affecting the outcome. Examining Plug-in Trace Logs, Solution layering, and any recent updates or patches can also reveal hidden conflicts. Read more Testing the same process in a sandbox environment and isolating custom workflows, Power Automate flows, or JavaScript web resources often helps pinpoint whether the issue is data-driven, environment-specific, or caused by customization overlap.
