Dynamics CRM Best Practices for small group

We are just getting started with a few of us at work with Dynamics CRM Online and are looking for some ideas for small groups and would like to find someone to help with the startup to make sure we have our processes correct. How can we find a "consultant" or some assistance with this process and find someone to discuss our business model and get suggestions on what we should be doing.

Hi Giles, ideally you should work with a Microsoft CRM Partner as they are experienced with addressing solutions for common business scenario's and are more likely to ensure your CRM is customised to best practices with solution they have already developed, Ideally go for a Gold or Silver Partner. However if you want to do it all inhouse you can hire freelance consultants, just make sure they have a background of working for another microsoft crm gold/silver partner for atleast 4/5 years otherwise you may end up with a maverick.

HI Giles - Also take a look at the various offerings from partners. Many only do the traditional time and materials were everything is a billable project or fixed fee. And others, like us, have a subscription based service for building out and maintaining your crm system. www.powerobjects.com/.../powersuccess
