Hi all,
So I need some urgent assistance, I have a client who has a Dynamics 365 portal on which we need to get user login and page view reports.
We used to log when a user logged in by creating a record in the system every time the user's last successful login field was updated on their contact record.
However, this field no longer updates when someone logs into the portal, a Microsoft update dealt with this, unfortunately.
So I need an alternative method to log when a contact logs in and ideally what pages they view in the portal.
Any suggestions are most appreciated, as we need to provide login reports to clients urgently.
Hi GRedhead,
Yes. the Login tracking feature has been deprecated and is not supported.

This functionality has been retired for portals with version 9.3.4.x or later. For more information, see the deprecation announcement published earlier: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/crm/2018/03/20/portal-capabilities-for-dynamics-365-deprecated-features/
In the article, Microsoft recommends using something like Azure Application Insights to capture that sort of information.
