How to determine which process is updating a field?

Hello,

I have a field (AM Last Updated) which has the last date a call was made to the customer by their account manager. I am getting some hit and miss updates and having had a look through some of the processes and done some testing, it looks like over the years the people who have done config to the system have added rules to update this field in various different processes.

What I would like to do is clear them all out and start again with just one fresh process to do this. Is there any way to pick a field such as this and be able to find any/all process which update the field.

I dont fancy having to go through the hundreds of processes we have active looking at every line trying to identify which ones may have a line that updates this field.

Is there any easy way to do this?

    Hi

If all of them are done in workflows, then you can select the field and check its dependencies to see in which processes its being referred and you can remove / change the processes

One other option would be to use XrmToolBox  plugin Process Search to find the processes

You can download the XrmToolBox from the following link

Once you got the XrmToolBox up and running, you can install the above plugin from plugin store
