User when posting Transfer gets an error that the item on Transfer order is not on inventory. The user did check and the items does exits.

This error is from NAV 2013.

Kindly advise

Hi, please check if the inventory is in this location.

If it still remains unresolved, it is recommended that the developer debug it.

Hi,

just a guess,

Check the item 'Type' is not set to sevice or anything else other then 'Inventory'

a possible cause is that the qty of the item on hand has been reserved in some way, so nav consider it not available. try to look if the item has been reserved for any sales order, production components etc.
