What is Costing Resource in Route Details

Hello,

What is the 'costing resource' field under route details used for?

I'm trying to understand how to define the costing resource. We have a situation in which an item can be manufactured at more than 1 resource. Each workstation is setup as a resource and we use 'resource capabilities' as resource requirements in the route.
