Hi,
we have a Dynamics CRM 2015 update 0.2 on-prem installation. We have noticed that even though the installed system language is Swedish, and the user language is set to Swedish, the quick create button label text is set to English "Create".
We have this issue on several organisations on Servers using the 0.2 update.
I tried to export the Global Ribbon but the Customization.xml only refers to Mscrm.template and I cant find how to edit that template definition.
Any ideas?
Best regards
Rickard

Version of the wrong language pack:
Dynamics CRM 2015 Language Pack 7.1.0001.3113
Solution:
I uninstalled the Dynamics CRM Swedish Language Pack version 7.1.XXXX from the server.
I looked for the latest version on microsoft.com and found the latest version for CRM 2015 to be 07.00.0000.3546. Installed that version and that solved the issue of missing translations. I still can't find the 7.1 version online, so I have no clue where the customer got that from.
Best Regards
Rickard
If I were you I would report the issue as Microsoft. Looks like they borked up!
Thanks for the help Bas.
I had look at another update 0.2 server with Swedish and there it looked OK. But I experiance other issues suck as a gray/blue business process flow stage instead of just blue background color. And also the blue background on the "next stage" button is missing. Seems like the standard CSS is failing in all browsers.
Hej Rickard,
good to hear you already tried that.
Normally the button texts are translated using the codepage identifier (e.g. 1033, 1043, etc).
If I were you I would not mess with the Mscrm.Template, but rather report this issue at Microsoft. Looks like they've forgotten to translate the particular label into the great swedish language..
cheers
Bas
Hi Bas,
I have tried using Ribbon Workbench but its only possible to change entity ribbon definitions and not the Mscrm.template. I'm actually not sure if the "Create" text inside the span with id "navBarGlobalQuickCreateTextId" reside in the Mscrm.Template. But from using Ribbon workbench I haven't been able to change the Language. I though that the "create" text would change to the installed language in CRM.
Any more ideas?
Hi Rickard.
You can take a look at the Ribbon Workbench (ribbonworkbench.uservoice.com/.../80806-download-ribbon-workbench-for-crm-2011-2013-2015
). The Ribbon workbench is a CRM solution that needs to be imported in CRM. once imported you can use it to alter the ribbon in a safe way and add translations where needed.
I hope this helps you a bit further.
Bas
