Headquarters Error Setting Up Store Database -2147221402

I am trying to create a new store database through the Headquarters Administrator (2.0.0126) application. It gets to the 'Creating Database Structure' point and then errors out with 'An error occured while attempting to copy the database' Error -2147221402 Incorrect Syntax Near ')'. What resources are there to diagnose what is failing? I have two databases that I need to create. Is there an alternate route for creating the databases that the HQ Server application can be made aware of by other means?
