    Hi shreyas27,

This article explains how a multi-tenant deployment works. User accounts, identities, security groups, subscriptions, licenses, and storage cannot be shared among tenants.

    Hi shreyas27,

I'm very sorry for the late reply.
It's true, usually one tenant is enough.

Transferring data between different tenants can become very cumbersome, and the only time I've ever encountered this requirement was to move a portion of business to the branch office.

    Hi Haig Liu  ,

Thanks for the answer so basically if we want  users to work on the same instance of D365  or users need to share data , we should have application in only one tenant and have users from other tenant as guest .

Can you please confirm if it is correct .

    Thanks

    Hi shreyas27,

    1. Typically, an organization shares a single tenant,

and users with different security roles are assigned to each member based on their identity.

Each user can access the corresponding Dynamic 365 application after being assigned the license and sufficient security role:

    2. Each tenant has a certain amount of storage space at creation, and each environment (instance) requires at least 1G of storage space at creation.

When you run out of storage space you can clean up your files, delete the environment (instance), or purchase more storage space.

    3. All users under the same tenant share the same database (Dataverse), but data from different tenants cannot be shared.

This is because the storage space for each tenant is billed independently.

But you can migrate an environment to a different tenant:
