Sales Invoice not posting in Jobs Module

When invoicing a billable line in the jobs module, I'm able to create the invoice just fine. However, when I try to post it, I'm getting this error:

Quantity must have a value in Job Journal Line: Journal Template Name=, Journal Batch Name=, Line No.=10000. It cannot be zero or empty.

Since this is an invoice, not a cost line, I would think it shouldn't use the job journal lines at all. How to I get around this error?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

Do you have a repro in standard Business Central and what release is this?

    Thanks.

This is Version: US Business Central 20.1 (Platform 20.0.39668.41524 + Application 20.1.39764.39901)

I'm not sure what a repro is or how to know if I have one

Any modifications or appsource extensions installed?

For your info, everything posts through a journal (even a sales invoice) so the data is getting to the job journal during the posting routine and then generating the error. What does the line look like in the invoice? Is there a quantity?

That was it, there was an extension previously installed and the problem resolved after uninstalling the extension. Thanks!

    Hello,

Great work. A repro in standard is that you try to reproduce the issue in an unmodified CRONUS company without any extension. If it doesn't, it is either a setup issue or in this case a third party extension.

    Thanks.
