Add User Middle Name

I got an issue:

CRM 2013 on premise giving me only First Name and Last Name of the user but and I've noticed that I can do it in Active Directory to make it like First Name, Middle Name Initial, Last Name .But even though it doesn't show that in CRM .

I want it to be (First Name, Middle Name, Last Name) and update that everywhere in CRM.

Regards,

    Hi Mohammed

You can do this by going into CRM Settings>  System Settings > Set the Full Name Format > and select the option with >  First Name, Middle Name Initial, Last Name

Thanks for your help Mr. Raz I changed it to First Name, Middle Name , Last Name .There is one more thing please which is update the users from the active directory. it shows only  Middle Name Initial there how can I add the Middle Name to active directory instead of the Middle Name Initial  and synchronize it with CRM even if I have to go one by one no problem .

    Thanks again

I also have this issue and have changed the setting. However, it warns me that the change will only apply to new, not old records.  Any suggestions on how to get this data to refresh? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Tricia,

You could export the records to Excel Online, populate the Middle Name field and then choose for the option Save changes to Dynamics 365 that starts an import job..

Since the Middle Name attribute is not synced from Azure AD to Dynamics 365, you could do that with the help of Flow.

See blog post: User attribute values lost in synchronization > Flow to the rescue: Middle Name

Thank you Stefan, that is a great solution. Our company's infrastructure/architecture person did end up resolving this without the use of Flow, but I know a ticket to Microsoft was involved.
