Arabic date and time field format

Hello everyone,

I hope someone can help me with this. I have a date and time field at opportunity level which is set up as User Local. I'm collecting the value for this date and time field in one of the email templates. The problem appears for our Dubai users which are set up to use Arabic. Their Format is set to Arabic(UAE), language is English, Time format is HH:mm but in the email I get  "02/02/2017 08:00 ص ". Is it possible to get rid of the Arabic sign?

Thank you

Prashant, I've managed to fix it. Basically the Workflow that creates the email where I collect the date and time had a Dubai local user as the owner. So no matter what settings the user triggering the workflow had, the email was being generated with the workflow Owner settings. I had the inspiration to check the workflow owner and realized that I need to change the workflow owner settings to make it work. All working now, thank you so much for your help.

You can use a JavaScript on emails entity to replace arabic characters with English for am   Pm

    Something like this social.microsoft.com/.../removing-braces-how-to-do-it-in-javascript

Ok, this seems to be related to the field itself and not with the settings unless something goes very wrong with my system. I have changed the user settings to show GBP as currency and language for formats but in the email template the date and time continues to show with the Arabic symbol.

Thank you Prashant but I'm not really bothered by the reports. What I understand from the discussion in the links you sent me, these are for reports only and won't apply for my email template. But please correct me if I'm wrong?

You can try report expression or trim left or replace character

    Something like this stackoverflow.com/.../is-it-possible-to-use-one-replace-function-to-replace-multiple-strings-in-one-fi

Yes, can't get rid of it. But just to clarify(not sure if there will be any difference) that I'm seeing this in the email template when I collect {Meeting Date and Time(Opportunity)} which is added as a Dynamic Value through the Form Assistant.

Do u still see the arabic character on both records n reports both?

If this didn't worked, u will have to raise a ticket to Microsoft
