Fixed Asset Depreciation Projections

My company is transitioning from tracking fixed assets in an excel SS to the Fixed Assets module in GP.

I have gone through all the fixed asset module setup and run an integration to add all the assets to the test environment.  The assets all appear to have been added correctly.

Now I am trying to run depreciation projections on the assets for Sept 2011 through December 2011.

I have tried to run the projections using both Reports>Fixed Asset>Projetion as well as Inquiry>Fixed Assets>Projections.

Any ideas why the projection are not running?

Thanks, Bonnie

you first have to run the projection process.  Routines>Fixed assets>Projection. You will need to select a target date such as 12/31/11 and select and insert the books to project.  Press the projection button Then you can run the report projection to see the projected decpreciation.

Steve is correct; the depreciation projection reports only runs against the data generated by the depreciation projection routine.
