Hi There,

I have a database about 11 GB in size  that was backed up by RMS SO Manager running on SQL Server 2005 on a SBS 2003 server

When I attempt to restore it through the SO Admin onto my Windows 7 laptop  I get the following message/error

"[SQL-DMO]Row or Column specified is outside the range of the specified query set"

In addition i get the following message upon clicking ok

"Run Time error - 2147199728(80045510)

[SQL-DMO] The name "xxx" was not found in the database collection. IF the name is a quaified name, use {} to seperate various parts and try again

Many Thanks

Derek

what version of sql are you running on your laptop because to restore a 11gb database you will need the retail version.

Also you could try restoring from the SQL Management Studio.  you can download at

    www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

Also it might be a corrupt backup.  try running the backup again and then restore from the new backup if possible.
