First, just in case you do not know what causes this specific date, this is the date you get when you attempt to enter a date into an SL field date field and you enter the slashes or dashes as part of your entry. It has to do with how SQL Server stores dates but I will not bore you with how it comes up with 6/6/2079.
You can fix the date with a SQL update query against the table GLTran (sorry, there is no screen to fix this once a batch is posted to the GL). It also sounds like you are using either Bank Recon or Cash Manager. If that is the case then the date has found its way into those related tables as well. If you are using Cash Manager and fix the GLTran records then you can run the Cash Manager Integrity Check process and it will rebuild the Cash Manager records with the corrected date. If you are using the Bank Recon module instead of Cash Manager then I am not familiar with what needs to be done for that module since I have no clients using it. Perhaps another person will be able to provide that information.
