The manufacturing module is probably one of the most complex modules in GP... If you have no idea, I would strongly suggest that you get the help of someone that knows the ins and the outs of that module.. It is not uncommon that even partners are reaching outside for specialized consultants that know the Manufacturing module very well... it's not just setting up a few parameters and making some choices... The decisions you take during the implementation of the manufacturing module can have deep impact on the future of your GP operations...
There is a training guide for the Manufacturing module that Microsoft provides for training classes. As far as I know, the course hasn't been updated since GP 10, but most of its content should still be applicable to GP 2013. Do a search in Customer Source about course 8817A. It's normally a 4-days class with instructor.
