Deploy SSRS using SQL Express 2012

I am trying to deploy the GP SSRS reports for the first time on a stand alone server that is using SQL Express. No matter what user credentials I use I keep geting this message  "You do not have security access to the location where you want the reports to be deployed". This server is not a domain controller and I am logged as the Local Administrator. I have this user to SSRS as an admin. Is it complaining about the folder where the report needs to go or about SSRS itself. I ahve checked the permissions on the folder and admin has full control. What do I have to do to get these reports to deploy?

    Richard,

When you are running GP are you running it use "Run as Administrator" (Shift-Right click on the GP icon)?

The credentials you are entering should be the admin account (domain account, in Local Admin group on SSRS server) that you used to install SSRS server or you will have to put the account that you want to use into the Administrator group on the SSRS server.

I have discovered that GP 2010 SSRS deploy using SQL Express 2012 is not possible. So I removed SQL Express and installed SQL 2012 Stanadard and they deploy just fine.

You cannot use any version of SQL Express for SRS.

Jonathan, I had overlooked that on the requirements page. We rarely use SQL Express for anything and this was the first one I tried. It would have been nice if the install program would simply have stated this.
