Sales and marketing parameters - Number sequences - Relation account

Hi all,

I am wondering what the number sequences in Sales and marketing parameters 'Relation account' and 'Relation account journal' are used for. Does anyone know? I know it is a functionality which alreday existed in AX2012 and I am also wandering if this setup is still required in D365 when working with prospects. I cannot find any info regarding this anywhere.

    Hi Verena,

    I thought those were for GAB party relationships but then I created a bunch of new relationships for orgs and persons and have not seen these number sequences used. Not sure if they are relevant for something else or not at all.

    Here's a link to a topic about the same question from a few years ago (and it's about AX 2012).

    It looks like no one was able to find the purpose of these fields.
