Field Names from related entities

In a grid / sub-grid, if displaying a column from the related entity, Dynamics 365 automatically adds the entity name in parenthesis next to the field name. Is there anyway to prevent that from happening?

NO, there is no supported way to do this. It's default behaviour of Dynamics 365.
