We have an app on appsource which is partner object range (million range)

1. to install on on-prem, do we need to convert into 50K range or we can install the same app as on appsource
2. Can a client install from cloud or we have to provide the .app

    Hi
If the range is 7 million, its use is exclusive for the cloud, and you must install it through the Appsource.
    Here is some more information
To install it in an on-premise environment you require the app with the appropriate ranges in the application and in the license.
    Best regards
    Gerardo

Yes, objects are in 7 million range
so it is clear now , it cannot be installed on on-prem
is there any object range we can get from Microsoft which allow both cloud and on-prem?
or do we have to have 2 apps, one for cloud and one for on-prem?

    Thanks

I believe that you submitted the Microsoft Dynamics Object Range Request Form during your initial application for an object range. If you selected the option "Same range required for all products" at that time, then you can use 7 million object range also in OnPrem.

OnPrem customers cannot install from AppSource. You need to provide the an app which is generated through runtime packages to secure your IP code.

And also you have to add your object ranges against your solution in PartnerSource Business Center and add Indirect partners who can sell your solution.
Partners can add your module to customer license.

    Thank you very much Mohana

Do I have to contact Microsoft for this or it is automatically applied for 7 million range?
how do I add my object range into customer license as they are just buying a small app, we are not their supporting/implementing partner.

    Thank you

Please confirm if you have selected "Same range required for all products" while submitting or not.
If not then you have to contact Microsoft again or submit the form again.

Once it is selected then you have to add the partner as reseller or indirect partner in PartnerSource Business Center and then the partner can add this module to customer license.
I have done it 2 years back so do not have access to the portal to check exact terminology or process now.
