Dear Community,

I have an error in configuration package that i'm not sure how to rectify.

I'm trying to upload configuration package. I can't seems to find any table that contains Item unit of measure.

Can anyone advise?

Or which table to abstract to input sales/ purchase unit of measure?

It is important to note there is a difference between the "Unit of Measure" table and the "ITEM Unit of Measure" table.  Most UOM look-ups will go to the "Unit of Measure" table, but if you select one that does not exist in the "ITEM Unit of Measure" table it will provide this error message.  This is because you have not defined how the selected Unit of Measure relates to the Item's Base Unit of Measure, so the system doesn't know how to handle the Quantity.

To correct your situation, be sure the desired Unit of Measure is setup in the "ITEM Unit of Measure" table for the Item.  This way the system can calculate a "Quantity (Base)" for the Item, which is a hidden by default field on the line.

P.S. Your Item's BASE Unit of Measure should be the smallest version of the Item, otherwise you'll likely end up with fractional (decimal) quantity on hand.
