We're a fly fishing outfitter running RMS, and as such aren't the sharpest knife in the drawer on these matter, I need to know how to run a year end pay-out report. Thx!

You could run the Register Analysis report. This is found under Manager -> Utilities -> Crystal Reports.
Double click the Register Analysis Report entry. Click on the Criteria Tab. Fill in the following
Field Name = "Date Opened"
Operator = "Greater Than or Equal Too [>=]
Contents = 01/01/2012
Click AND
Then Click Add
Then Fill in the following:
Operator = "Less Than or Equal Too [<=]
Contents = 12/31/2012
then Click Add
So Criteria window should be like this:
Date Opened Greater Than or Equal To >= January 1, 2012 AND
Date Opened Less Than or Equal To <= December 31, 2012
Then click Generate.
This gives you all the information on the Z-Reports summed together between and including those 2 dates.
Paid Out is in the third column

We have a couple reports that may be of help to you. We have one that simply lists out Drops & Payouts. We have one called the Exception Report that will do the same, but also list anything with a discount, negative item, etc. Both of these are RMS reports and can be filtered as such.
We also have a tool called the Consolidated Z report that does all the above in an easier to follow manner. Additionally, as the name suggests, it also acts as a report that can consolidate information from one or more Z reports into a single view for you go get a better understanding of you daily business.
