Error when export to Excel

Hi,

Im having problem when exporting record to Excel. Im working on CRM 2013 On Premise. I tried with other pc and browsers, but still having the same problem.

Can anyone give me an idea what's wrong and how I can fix it?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately that is for exporting solution, not exporting records.

Hi,

can you show us what kind of records you are exporting, and could you turn on the tracing so you can get a more details error message?

Thank you for your response. I want to export any records. Like list of contacts from Advanced Find. I received this error message :

Is this error obtained from crm trace? if not:

Since you are onpremise . could you please turn on tracing to see the detailed error.

or use this tool "CRM trace reader"

community.dynamics.com/.../view-crm-trace-logs-easily-with-trace-reader-for-crm

once you have identified the error - you can then work towards the solution.

Hi

Could you try the following and see if this fixes the issue for you

01. Restart CRM Services, do an IIS reset and see if that fixes this

02. Restart the server and see if that fixes for you

03. I would also try from different client machine or restart your client machine and see if that fixes

Hi,

Ideally this type issue comes when someone did some manual DB operation directly which MS unable to handle . Above already suggested to check the logs . In addition please can you do following -

Try to create one record newly and try to export it from advanced find with minimum column which having value . You can also try with various combination of column in the advanced find to replicate the issue and find the root cause .

Also do you think this issue happening for all data or particular data , column , views , particular ? try to find out which causing issue and do some data analysis , remove columns from the view .

Thank you. I tried to check the log, but still no meaningful message. Its the same as I posted above. I also tried creating new record and export it to excel, but still got the error.

maybe in crm 2013 it is having issue , kindly show us the complete list of errors that are showing so i could tell you the soltuon.
