what format of security token the CRM accepts

I have a php client that need to authenticate with CRM given that the CRM are protected by ADFS server so does the CRM support samel bearer token or what?

    Hi Raz,

    The link you provided is to connect with the old crm soap organization service 2011 which is deprecated and on the new release after 8.0 will be removed. 
    I'm struggling right now about how to authenticate with the new odata REST API. also does office 365 are same as MS CRM 2016 or what. Because every search query about CRM 2016 got me into office 365 ?

    Hi Mohammed, I believe it accepts SAML token only. Please follow below example;
