GP addin/extension/technique to refresh selling prices on SOP documents required

Has anyone seen tool to allow a user to refresh the prices on an SOP sales document (quote/order) from GP standard pricing.
Main use case is that there are many quotations with over 200 lines, the quote expires, prices have gone up, customers regularly want a new quote with the current prices on.

We could copy the quote and generate a new one (technically the right thing to do), but it breaks our view of the prospect to order pipeline. It looses the "customer conversation" logged against the quote with reference numbers etc - and easy gathering of stats on how long the quote took to convert.

Anyone have any SQL techniques or products that will deal with the distributions, tax calculations etc when prices are updated...

Edit: I will use eConnect in a custom application if nothing exists, just seeing if there are any "tricks" I'm missing before I invest time in that.

Tim.

Nope. Haven't seen anything along those lines. You would be the first to have something to do just what you described.

Rockton omni price would do that and also give you contract pricing but a bit expensive for something like that.

You could probably do something simple like re-select the Price level on each line and that should recalculate the list price if there is one etc but don't ask me how to make it do it on each line, that's beyond me haha.

Yes, this is more me checking no one has a trick where running some routine somewhere after setting the values in SQL would "fix" it up...

Good to know about the product for those finding this post in a future search though.

Fair enough, it is actually on my radar as I need to do something similar but slightly more advanced as I want to still show the old price to the user as sometimes special pricing might have been applied without a markdown.
