Business Portal 6.0 and HTTPS

Have a working GP Business Portal 6.0 up and running on a SharePoint 2010 server.

Need to extend the portal to our employees at home.  Have a Barracuda Web Application Firewall installed and configured.  We are using a wildcard cert.

The site works fine internally.  The site works fine from the outside if I go to the http site address (only up for testing).  The site will connect via the https site, but the windows that query the GP database for information (Leave Time, Pay, Employee Information, Tax Withholding, dependents, etc.) do not populate.

Not sure if my problem is with Barracuda, SharePoint, IIS, or Business Portal.

Any suggestions would be fine.

Thank you.

In Reference to the Business Portal Admin Guide.... the instructions are to use an ISA server... ISA Server does not exist anymore, and hasn't for years.

This isn't something with BP. If you are looking to do a configuration like that Kelly I would recommend you post in the SharePoint community as this needs to be configured on their side not BP.

    Hi Kelly,

    Have you tried the following.

    1) If you are opening Business Portal in IE 10 or later version please change browser mode to IE 8 and check the fields getting populated.

    2) Check whether the Business Portal server has latest windows update or service pack

Let me know whether its work for you.

    Thanks,

    Babu

Yes, but it looks like the change takes the complete portal to HTTPS.   Want to leave the internal portal as is and only use HTTPS when accessing it externally from the network.

    Kelly,

The Business Portal Admin Guide provides instructions for this.  Have you referenced it?

    Thanks

    Rob
