Assigning Tasks in Bulk

Hello everyone, I am somewhat of CRM newb, I have semi-succesfully navigated my way through most issues and with help of others slowly but surely improved our system.

I am up against a problem that I cant seem to solve on my own.  I am looking to assign in bulk, tasks to accounts in certain marketing lists.  Basically I need the salesman to be assigned the task of setting up an appointment with a group of customers.  Is there any way to accomplish this is bulk?

Thank you in advance.

Joe

Create an on demand workflow on account entity. In this workflow, create a new task and Assign it to the owner of the account (Assuming sales person is the owner of the account). Select multiple accounts at once and run that on demand workflow. This should create bulk tasks.

Sorry, I am still a little new at all this.  I know where to create the workflow, I am just unclear on the steps needed to make the workflow do what I want. I truly appreciate the help.

    Thanks

Actually I think I may have figured the workflow out.  I just can not seem to isolate the customers inside of the marketing list to apply the workflow to.

    There are two ways

    1. Use advance find to search for the accounts, select multiple accounts and run the workflow.

    2. Use a custom workflow activity to get all related accounts and use it in a workflow which would run on marketing list.

I figured it out shortly after typing that message. I truly appreciate your help, I believe I have this under control now.
