Dynamics SL not starting in Windows 10

I have a Windows 10 installation of SL 2015 with SP2 and CU2 applied. When I invoke the application it does not start at all. The splash screen does not even come up. I have removed and reinstalled it but no difference.

Has anyone experienced this and knows what could be wrong?  Thanks

    CU2 messes up the registry so SL cannot find itself.

    Here is the registry items that need fixing - change the T:\ path to the path where your SL install is:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\DynamicsSL]

    "ParentDirectory"="T:\\SL\Applications\\"

    "INSTALLDIR"="T:\\SL\Applications\\"

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Solomon\Solomon IV Tools For Visual Basic]

    "ParentDirectory"="T:\\SL\Applications\\"

    I don't know how you figured that out but it solves the problem

    I simply replaced c:\ by c:\\ and it worked. Its incredible that a bad install routine by CU2 has cuased so much problem for us.
