how to create mail templates in custom entities

hello experts,

I tried to create an email template for the custom entities but it did not let me create them, and I tried the entities of the system and they worked for me.

Any way to create email templates for custom entities?

any answer would be very useful.

Hi Camilo0113,

There are no out of the box methods for creating email templates for custom entities. However, you can create email templates for custom entities with Dynamics Custom Email.

Hi Camilo0113,

As of now we dont have a any OOB functionality to create email template for custom entity.

There is one work around to create email template using manual process.

Steps:

1. Create email template with template type as 'Global'

2. Inside template you need to customize values as shown below:

{!entitylogicalname:attributelogicalname;}

3. Save the email template then you should be able to customized value in yellow highlighted color.
