Goal Error

Hello Everyone,

I keep having trouble with my goals.. I have them all entered fine but they are not calculating. And when I hit the recalculate button I get an error:

An error has occurred.

Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Community for solutions or contact your organization's Microsoft Dynamics CRM Administrator. Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support.

But that does not help me at all... has this happened to anyone else? Do you know what the problem is?

I would really appreciate the help.. Thank you!!!

Do you have the opportunity to run the solution on an onpremise server? It would make troubleshooting a whole lot easier

    Hello Aileen!

I am still struggling with these goals as I type this..

I do not know how to check the event viewer and I do not know what you meant by restarting the async service..

    Captain,

If you use CRM OnPremise, you can trace or check event viewer to see the inner detail.

You tried to restart the async service?

    Thanks.

Have you changed your fiscal periods at all?

It should cope with that (allow you to update the fiscal period to align it or not)- but someone else raised an issue recently that suggested they were having some issues in that situation.

    Hi Captain CRM,

What CRM version are you using? Do you have some log information? The error you are describing it pretty vague ;)

On support.microsoft.com/.../907490 you can find a description about activating the tracing functionality in CRM

Looking forward to hear from you

    Bas
