CRM on-premise email auto tracking

Hello!

We had a change in our email system, we use Exchange Online now.

As far as I know is that we have still to use the email router because this hybrid system is not supported. Am I right?

Well, the email router is working so far. But I got the following problem(s) since this change:

  • CRM auto track
When I receive an email from a customer, it will be automatically tracked in CRM. Then I have to click on "Untrack" to delete the record. I already checked the tracking options in the CRM options in Outlook (2013). It says that all emails in response to CRM email will be tracked. Is there another setting for this behavior? It looks like that I am the only employee with this problem in our company.

  • Contacts synchronizing
I cannot find the contact synchronizing option in Outlook anymore, is it gone? Because two employees told me that their contacts are not syncing anymore. The track button is visible, but we get an error message (outlook stopped working) after we click it.

  • Auto-tracking the following emails
When I send an email and track it afterwards, every email in the conversation will be tracked. Is it possible to disable the tracking function and choose for myself if I want to track an email?

Thank you!

Best regards

Raphi

    Hello Raphi,

Could you please verify the setting

Cached Exchange Mode is enabled or disabled. This setting is also causing a lot of issues related to the tracking.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Thanks for your answer.

I fixed the first and the third problem.

The first problem was the following problem:

my email address was set in a queue with tracking of all email messages! Deleting the queue fixed the problem.

The third problem was no problem, it was a user mistake.

But now there is the second problem with the contact synchronizing. Where is this now? I just can see the filters, which are defined correctly.

    Best regards
