Hi guys we have a critical issue with Business Central environment (SaaS version), many users need to upload several excel file with more than 500K line per file into business central through a extension after the file is uploaded the General Journal Line is blocking because the quantity of users trying to uploading files same time.

There are some fixed to apply or workaround a technical level to avoid a blocking issue with the Gen. Journal Line table?

What about many users uploading files (500K lines) same time?

Thank you for your help

My BCCL might be an option https://www.hougaard.com/bccl if the upload process is slow... but... This sounds more like post-processing. I would redesign the extension to serialize the GL Line import.... Or perhaps, even do an in-memory GL line and post that directly, completely bypassing the General Journal Line table...

    Hi

Do you mean all those users try to upload at the same time? If this is the case then you may need to set a different schedule for them. The other method is maybe use the method recommended in this post (upload to Azure then from Azure upload to BC)

Also, look into this FREE app (it is not released yet)  https://www.dmsiworks.com/apps/import-export-powertool/  but this also could help.
