Can I disable concurrent BPF in Sales?

Hi all,

I have an issue with BPF where we have 5 different BPF's across our Sales process. The issue is that different users are seeing different stages of the same Opportunity. Sometimes people are in different processes flows, others are different stages.

I understand that D365 allows concurrent BPF (per user), however this doesn't help where we want everybody to see the same process stage that an Opportunity is in.

Is it possible to disable concurrent BPF? If not, what work arounds have been put in place to tackle this situation? I am sure we are not the only people wanting a simplified process flow where everybody sees the same process stage for an Opportunity.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Yes, you can have up to 10 active business process flows per entity, we can configure multiple business processes and associate them with the same starting record. Users can switch between multiple business processes running concurrently.
If you don't want to use multiple BPF in the one entity, you can remove them form current app.
    For example:
    Uncheck BPF you don't need:
    Save and publish.

Unfortunately I need multiple BPF's in my solution. My issue is making sure everybody is always in sync, hence hoping I could disable the ability to have concurrent processes running between users.

I have seen a solution in the past (from 2017) where you need to use c# to impersonate every user and call SetProcess for each user. Seems like a very hacky solution and hoping that there was an easier fix?

And you can use js code on each form to show the BPF you want.
Generally, users can switch BPF manually through this button:
You can try to hide this button to prevent them from switching BPF again.
I hope you can mark my answer verified if it answer your question! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
