Dear All,

I am trying to adjust inventory i.e positive/negative adjustment using item journal but I am getting an error, which says -  "The Prod. Order Line does not exist. Identification fields and values: Status='Released',Prod. Order No.='',Line No.='0' . Please refer to the below screenshot.

Appreciate your help and support.

Thanks!

Are you using production orders? Are any of the journals lines applied to an entry? Have you tried copying the lines and pasting into another journal batch?

    Hello,

Adding to Josh's reply... In looking at the image please check what Josh mentions, Applied-to Entry. How did you create the entries? I do agree copy/paste to a new Journal Batch to see if you get the same results. Also, run a Posting/Test Report, after you copy/paste, to see if you have the same issues.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Hi Josh and Steven, I have an update that I managed to post the entry in item journals successfully. Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

I removed all the negative adjustment items from the current journal batch and kept only the positive one and posting went fine. Then I opened another journal batch and added all items for negative adjustment and again posting went fine. But I am still not clear why Positive and Negative adjustment didn't work in one batch!
