I see when released product variants are created for a product, it automatically copies over the Product name over as the variant name. screen shot below.
When we use such items in Inventory journals such as Counting/ transfer, as soon as we select the dimension, it adds the variant name into the product name with a slash. Screenshot below.
This prints in documents such as counting sheet which creates trouble for reading where there are long item names - this avoids printing items in single line clearly and adds multiple pages.
Even if it does the same thing in PO, the confirmation prints the 'Item text' instead of Product name so doesn't effect the output.
Anyone faced this issue with counting sheets and found a remedy?
