How to deploy GP as Desktop client

How to deploy GP as Desktop clients ?

I need to configure SQL server on LAN and then install GP desktop clients (GP application ) with security roles on different computers connected within that LAN . Is it going to work for us ?

    Security roles are user based and not on the client install, so if a user logs in into any computer to GP they will have the same security not based on the computer they are using.

    So, yes it will work for you. Just setup your SQL/GP server and point your clients to this server and you should be fine.

    Alvaro is correct however I would like to add that when you create your install package make sure to include all modules that you use. I believe it is possible to install the client without the appropriate modules which would make it appear that the user doesn't have security privileges to certain module. If you aren't sure you can look at the dynamics.set file or sign in as a power user or 'sa'.
