Does any one know how I where I can find SQL Server 2014 runtime? I'm looking to upgrade my client to GP 2013 R2 and want to use SQL Server 2014 but I can't find the down load for the runtime version anywhere.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I assume Ralph is looking for the copy that will eventually be available for "free" with Dynamics GP, not Express (which IMHO is a bad idea for GP) or a trial version.

To the best of my knowledge, this hasn't been released for GP yet; MS is typically a little slow on the uptake with these things.

Hi

I know that is Microsoft announced about SQL 2014 in a prerequisite for GP 2013 R2, also know more than a customer has implemented GP 2013 R2 with a sql version below Sql 2014, but Is there a link to download a runtime version for sql 2012 still available?

There is no SQL 2014 Runtime at the moment. Although it is not the "latest and greatest" SQL 2012 will work fine for GP 2013 R2 in the meantime.

Does anyone from Microsoft have an idea when this will be released for GP customers? We have numerous updates to 2015 and would like to have the clients on the latest version.

If this is still a question and you haven't already, I'd try speaking with the MBS Sales Operations who handles the selling of Dynamics GP and would be who could answer when SQL Server 2014 Runtime will be available, if not already.
